In any group, individuals hold distinct value. But without the priority to achieve as a whole, without the concern for other members, and without adhering to the common mission, we succumb to ourselves, and nothing greater.

James Caprell’s Mosaics consist of multiple small cubes that comprise a larger painting when displayed together. This combined work is made beautiful, powerful, and complete by the strength of its parts.

Each cube stands alone, and can also be combined with any of the other cubes in the same Mosaic, allowing for the creation of custom “sets” – two, six, twelve or any number of cubes – that will forever remain a part of the master work. Many find a special bond with others who have created sets from the same Mosaic, sharing ownership of this unique composition.
